Uforia Station Que Buena 106.5 KLNV-FM Wins 2019 Medallas de Cortez Award


SAN DIEGO
–MARCH 20, 2019– KLNV-FM La Que Buena 106.5 FM in San Diego, part of Uforia, The Home of Latin Music, received the 2019 Medallas de Cortez Award for Station of the Year at the 2019 Hispanic Radio Conference held at the Intercontinental at Doral in Miami last week. The award, which recognizes leadership and outstanding professionals in the Hispanic radio industry, caps off a triumphant year for KLNV, who recently celebrated its 20th anniversary and two continuous decades of delivering the largest share of Spanish-language listening in San Diego. Que Buena 106.5 is also home to the top-rated “El Bueno, La Mala, y El Feo” show, the most-listened to morning drive program among Adults 18-49 in San Diego, regardless of language, according to Nielsen Audio.
 
KLNV's on-air roster also includes the market-leading Juan Ruvalcaba “El Potrillo” at middays, the Jarocho y Compaye Show in afternoons, and Alex Navarro “Ojitos” helming nights.
