iHeartMedia’s internship program offers opportunities in the areas of Programming, Production, Marketing & Promotion, Sales, and more. Our internships offer meaningful educational and work experiences designed to meet the academic and career goals of the intern. Our management will teach and encourage, but it’s up to the student to bring an enthusiasm to learn.


The Digital Programming department focuses on iHeartMedia’s Los Angeles radio stations’ digital content and branding. A successful intern will possess strong creative writing skills, interest in digital content production and a healthy addiction to social media, music and pop culture. Internship tasks will include, but are not limited to: researching, creating and updating web content, posting to social media, video production & photography and assisting at events as needed.

Preferred Skills

• Blogging/writing experience
• Social Media content production for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and/or Snapchat
• Working knowledge of basic HTML and content management systems.
• Graphic design and Photoshop
• Video production: basic shooting and editing


• Working toward or have achieved a degree in communications, broadcast or digital media
• Must be highly organized and detailed-oriented
• Some experience creating content
• Knowledge of trending content, music and pop culture
• Ability to work flexible hours. Primarily hours needed to be present during business hours, with the possibility of some evenings and weekends as needed.


• At least 18 years of age
• Enrolled in an accredited college or university
• Able to provide a letter from the student’s school stating that the student will be granted credit for the internship.

An internship at iHeartMedia does not secure employment upon graduation.
