Introducing a very special Radio Sales Training Program?enrollment is now open forthe Winter 2016 SCBA Radio/Digital Sales Training Classes.Our classes can be attended by all SCBA member sales teams and those wanting to enter the business as we now offer our exclusive sales training programs for both IN-PERSON and LIVE ON LINE training sessions. For those new or newer sellers and sales assistants wanting to learn all about Radio sales and prefer the in person classroom environment, enroll now! For those who can't travel to our Burbank training center, but want the full training course, and learn the same material all ONLINE, you can with just your Laptop and telephone. Enroll now!


Our Winter 2016 Radio/Digital Sales Training Classes can now be attended by anyone, anywhere!


All you have to do is fill in the application form for either the IN-PERSON or LIVE ONLINE classes. We welcome all students whether working for a member station or someone wanting to get their Radio sales career started with solid, real world training. Fall 2014 SCBU Sales Class

SCBU students are thoroughly engaged in this photo from our SCBU Fall 2014 Sales Training Classes. The 10 week training seminar featured interactive classes with our region's leading Sales Managers as guest instructors. Classes covered the most important subjects for new and newer sales professionals with a focus on new business development, Strategic Selling, and more. All the training content was designed to make newer sales people successful in our industry. The entire class graduated with SCBU approved certification and we wish all of our graduates much success in their Radio sales careers.

Our 2013 Fall SCBU Sales Training program had record total attendance this season. Our classes have attracted new and newer professional sellers as well as people wanting to start a career in Radio sales and sales assistants wanting to move up to a sales position. All of our enrolled students have one important quality in common; the desire to grow and improve their professional sales skills, no matter what stage they are in with their careers!

The SCBA's 10-week course requires 100% attendance twice a week as well as homework assignments. We are pleased to report that our students have made the time and commitment and are well on their way to certification and graduation in early December. Congratulations to all our students for keeping an open mind and having a willingness to learn and grow.

SCBU is designed to provide training for anyone with limited experience in radio sales, as well as those beginning entry-level positions at Southern California stations. Class instructors include managers from Southern California Radio Stations and other broadcasting affiliates. It is the only sales course of its kind in Southern California.

Congratulations to the participants of our Spring SCBU Radio Sales Class who completed their course on May 21, 2013. With their new skills they are ready to hit the streets. Well done all!
